Nacogdoches, Tex.- The Centenary Ladies continued their impressive start to the 2004 season with a 1-1 tie on the road against Stephen F. Austin. It was the third consecutive overtime match for Centenary, matching their total from a year ago.

Freshman Tara Sageser added to her season long scoring streak in the 60th minute, collecting a pass from Senior Mindi Levinski five yards out and pushing the ball home. Levinski’s assist moves her into second place all-time in Centenary history.

The Ladies defense provided another strong outing, facing a barrage of shots by an aggressive Ladyjack offense. Junior keeper Lindsey Stafford was solid between the pipes, collecting eight saves on the day.

Centenary (4-0-1) travels this weekend for their first Mid-Continent Conference match Friday against defending champion Oakland, followed by a first-ever meeting with Detroit on Sunday.
