TULSA, Okla – Gents golfer David Viviano finished tied for fifth place at the Oral Roberts Invitational after shooting a final round of 75 to go with his first day total of 148.  The junior’s 223 (78-70-75) was good enough to finish just four strokes off the lead.

 

As a team, Centenary finished ninth with a score of 961, adding 321 to their day one total of 640.

 

Reid Petree’s 75 placed him 29th (235) after finishing the first 36 holes with rounds of 83 and 73.  Freshman John Hogan ended play in 45th place (85-82-87, 254) while Ryan Oliver improved significantly from the first day to wind up 46th (87-88-80, 255).  Nathan Hensely’s 258 (89-82-87) placed him 47th.

 

Playing as an individual, Zach Bruhnke saved his best round for the final day, finishing 48th (93-98-85, 276).

 

Host Oral Roberts (888) took home the victory after placing their entire team in the top 11.  Following them was UMKC (899), Southern Illinois (906), Bradley (907), Loyola (Ill.) (919), and Texas-Pan American (921).  Rounding out the competition was South Dakota State (927), North Dakota State (935), and Centenary (961).
