Mid-Con Tournament Champs

SHREVEPORT—The Centenary softball program will be holding its annual Winter Clinic on Saturday, January 7th. The clinic will be broken up into three sessions including pitchers and catchers, hitting, and position players. Centenary head coach Mark Montgomery directs the camp with help from assistant coach Alison McNulty and current Ladies softball players. Montgomery has led the maroon and white to back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament as Mid-Continent Conference Tournament Champions.

All players who attend the camp will be grouped by age and ability. Lunch and a T-shirt are included in the price of the camp and the activities will be moved indoors in the case of inclement weather.

The one-day camp will begin at 9 am with pitchers and catchers until 11:30 am. From 12 pm to 2:30 pm will be a hitting camp and rounding out the afternoon from 3 pm to 5:30 pm will be the position players.

Cost for each session is $40 or those interested can attend all three sessions for the discounted price of $100. All participants should bring athletic shoes, cleats, glove, and bat. Catchers should bring their own equipment.
