SHREVEPORT—The Centenary Athletics Department has reached an agreement with The Radio Group to broadcast 47 Ladies and Gents basketball games on KSYR Sunny 92.1 FM during the upcoming 2005-06 season. The entire Gents schedule of 27 games and 20 Ladies games will be available on the station throughout Shreveport-Bossier and the surrounding areas. In addition, all games played in the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament by both teams from March 4-7 will be aired.

After several seasons of being on KOKA 980 AM, another of The Radio Group’s stations, the Centenary basketball teams will now be heard by a potentially bigger audience while avoiding conflicts with paid programming.

The Centenary Athletics Department would also like to announce that all games broadcast on KSYR Sunny 92.1 FM can be heard over the internet at www.SportsJuice.com. Centenary has renewed its agreement with the webcasting company and looks forward to its fourth season with SportsJuice.com. Direct links to all internet broadcasts can be found on www.GoCentenary.com as well as all other up-to-date scores, stories, and information regarding Centenary Athletics.
