Micah Rhodes

ELMHURST, Ill.—For the second consecutive week, Centenary outfielder Micah Rhodes has been selected as the Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Week. The honor is the third in as many opportunities for the Centenary softball program, which improved to 7-2 on the season with a pair of wins over Grambling State last Wednesday.

Rhodes (Grapevine, Texas) batted 1.000 in the doubleheader with the Lady Tigers as Grambling failed to retire her all afternoon. The powerful lefty went 4-for-4 with two walks, four runs, and five RBI while earning a 1.000 on-base percentage. She compiled a slugging percentage of 1.750 after belting her third homerun of the season and played a flawless right field for the Ladies.

Rhodes looks to continue her torrid hitting when Centenary jumps back into action with a twinbill on Monday at Prairie View A&M before a double dip with Texas Southern in Houston on Tuesday.
