Smith Takes Third on Vault at Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo.—The Missouri Tigers defeated the Centenary gymnastics team 195.575 to 187.525 on Friday night. The Tigers nearly swept the top three positions on each event, but sophomore Meredith Smith posted a 9.800 on the vault for the Ladies to tie for third place.

 

Kristina Menne and Sarah Ball claimed second and third place respectively in the all-around as Menne totaled a 38.225 with her top score being a 9.650 on the floor. Ball tallied a 37.250 with the help of a 9.650 on the vault.

 

In addition to Smith’s score on the vault and Menne’s on the floor, both of which were top scores for the Ladies, other high marks for Centenary included a 9.575 on the bars and a 9.575 on the beam, also from Menne.
