Ladies Defeat Ball State, Fall to SEMO and Mizzou

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.—The Centenary gymnastics team bested Ball State 188.775 to 187.325 in a quad meet hosted by Southeast Missouri State on Sunday afternoon. The Ladies did come up short against SEMO (191.975) and Missouri (195.550) in falling to 6-9 on the season.

 

For the second meet in a row, Meredith Smith was Centenary’s top finisher in an event. She took third place with a 9.800 on the vault. Kristina Menne placed second in the all-around with a total score of 38.550 as Adrienne Perry of Missouri won the title with a 39.100.

 

Menne earned the top scores on each event for the Ladies other than Smith’s effort on the vault. She recorded a 9.650 on the bars, a 9.675 on the beam, and a 9.625 on the floor.
