MONROE, La. – The Centenary women’s soccer team re-takes the field today as they participate in Louisiana-Monroe’s 7v7 tournament Saturday, March 11 at Brown Stadium.  The Ladies field a team comprised solely of returning players for 2006 without the benefit of graduating seniors or their talented crop of incoming freshman.

“This tournament will give us a change of pace from out offseason weights and conditioning,” head coach Chase Wooten said.  “Although we’ll just be using our core group of players, it’s exciting to get back out on the field against other school’s again.”

Games are half field contests starting every 75 minutes.  Teams playing include ULM White, ULM Maroon, Grambling State, Arkansas-Little Rock, Northwestern State, and Centenary.
