LONGVIEW, Texas—Both the Centenary tennis teams easily won their respective matches with LeTourneau University on Friday. The Ladies dominated their competition in winning 7-0 while the Gents earned a decisive 6-1 victory. Jennifer Majchrowicz picked up her fourth win of the week for the Ladies and freshman Dylan Dyer earned his first collegiate victory for the Gents.

The win was the first of the season for the Ladies, who improved to 1-7 on the year. Heather Kelley and Christine Majchrowicz disposed of their opponents in the #1 doubles slot with an 8-3 effort. Kristina Collins and Courtney Myers dropped their opposition in the #2 slot 8-1 while Jennifer Majchrowicz and Lindsay Ezell beat Sarah Mintz and Michelle Miller of LeTourneau 8-1 to round out the doubles sweep.

All six Ladies picked up victories in the singles action as no Centenary player allowed their opponents more than three points in a set.

The Gents won their second consecutive match in downing LeTourneau. The men also swept their doubles competition as #1 Josh Pinto and Russ Patrick came out on top of an 8-5 score, #2 Dylan Dyer and Arthur Okura won 8-2, and the duo of #3 Matt Shoptaugh and Seva Kostelanetz outscored their counterparts 8-4.
