Ladies Place Fourth at MIC's, Menne Wins All-Around

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.—The Centenary gymnastics team took fourth place at the Midwest Independent Championships hosted by Southeast Missouri State on Saturday. The Ladies posted a team score of 190.575 while Texas Woman’s University won the meet with a score of 193.200. Kristina Menne won the all-around title with a combined score of 38.650.

 

Menne placed second on the balance beam with a 9.775 effort and took third on the floor exercise with a 9.825. Jessie Angus ranked sixth on the balance beam with her 9.625 and Meredith Smith’s 9.725 on the beam tied her for eighth on the event.

 

The Ladies will now receive some time off before heading to the USAG Nationals in Ithaca, New York. The competition begins on April 13th.
