Holli Wilkins

BATON ROUGE - Centenary junior guard Holli Wilkins has been named Honorable Mention All-Louisiana by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.  She averaged 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists a game while her 3.4 steals per game average ranks sixth in the nation.  Wilkins adds the accolade to her 2005-06 Mid-Continent Conference Honorable Mention selection.

Wilkins, an Evadale, Texas, native, set career highs in points, rebounds, steals, and blocks in a game.  Her back-to-back 27- point performances against Southern Utah and Oakland were season-bests for the Ladies, and her 12 rebounds against IUPUI as part of a double-double were a career high.

She nabbed nine steals in the season opener against UNO, tied for the school’s best single-game mark and tied for seventh best in the country this year.  Wilkins set the single season mark for steals at Centenary with 82, beating the previous record by eight.

Her six-assist day at Chicago State was a career best, and her six blocks against Oakland are tied for a school record.

Wilkins also tied a school record with six three pointers made in a game against Southern Utah.  Her .714 field goal percentage in a victory over Sam Houston State tied for the season best mark for the Ladies.
