INDIANAPOLIS – The Centenary men’s golf team wrapped up their 2005-06 season with an 8th place finish at the Mid-Continent Conference golf championships at The Fort Golf Club.  The Gents shot a final round 330 on Tuesday to go with their first day scores of 335 and 340 for 1005.


Junior David Viviano posted a team best 73 in the final round to go with Monday’s 77 and 82 to tie for 24th place with 232.  John Hogan (79-83-80, 242) finished 35th while Matt Williams (87-82-84, 253) ended play a slot behind in 36th.


Mike Lowbardino (92-93-93, 278) finished 38th while Zach Bruhnke (92-96-100, 288) finished out of scoring consideration and in 40th place.


Preseason favorites Western Illinois took home the team championship with an 869, followed by Southern Utah (882) and Oral Roberts (886).  Oakland (895) and UMKC (897) battled for the next spot, while IUPUI (915), Chicago State (965), and Centenary (1005) rounded out the competition.
