BATON ROUGE, La.—Centenary freshman volleyball player Danielle Bochat has been named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s All-Louisiana Team for her efforts on the court this season. The 5’11” outside hitter earned honorable mention accolades on the LSWA team while breaking several school records in her debut campaign.

Bochat, from Boerne, Texas, led the Ladies squad in kills (439), kills per game (3.35), attempts (1,334), attack percentage (.204), digs (362), and digs per game (2.76), while finishing second in service aces (40). She set a new Centenary single-season mark for kills and finished just seven attempts short of reaching the top of that list. Her 362 digs are fifth most in a season and her 30 kills against Texas Southern tied her for the most ever in a single match.

Bochat was named Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Week in mid-September and finished fifth in the league in kills. She recorded 11 double doubles on the year and notched double-digit kills in 23 matches.
