STATESBORO, Ga.--The Centenary men's soccer team lost its final game of the 2005 Kick-Off Classic to Georgia Southern 4-0 on Sunday. Donnie Henderson tallied 11 saves in the contest, but it was not enough to hold off a strong Eagles offense. Henderson, along with Aron Taylor were named to the All-Tournament Team for their efforts over the weekend.

Lawrence Smith started the scoring for Georgia Southern (4-1-1) when he bounded a shot past Henderson in the 35th minute. Less than ten minutes later, Jeff Cox contributed on his second score of the day by scoring his first goal of the season after earning the assist on the opening score.

Smith struck again midway through the second half off of a Georgia Southern corner kick to earn his fifth goal in only six matches. The Eagles rounded out their scoring efforts with a Tyler mullen goal at the 80:39 mark.

The Gents will earn a much-needed rest this week as they do not return to action until they open Mid-Continent Conference play against defending champs Oral Roberts at home on Saturday at 7 p.m.
