TULSA, Okla – The Centenary women’s golf team finished play in the Oral Roberts Shootout in 17th place with rounds of 333, 334, and 345 for a 1012.

 

Sophomore Chloe’ Mims paced the Ladies with a 238 to tie for 32nd.  She added an 82 on her final round to her pair of 78s on Monday.

 

Freshmen Jessica Garza (t-52, 246), Tracy Williams (t-67, 255), Leigh Williams (88th, 273), and Bethany Cox (90th, 288) completed the Ladies’ scores. 

 

Host Oral Roberts (913) claimed the victory in their tournament with a six- stroke win over Kansas (919), followed by UTEP (926), Arkansas-Little Rock (934), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (940), and Texas-Pan American (946).  The next tier of finishers included Arkansas State (955), Lamar (956), Missouri State and McNeese State (tied with 960), North Texas (964), South Dakota State (974), and Northeastern State (976).  Rounding out the action was UMKC (991), Sam Houston State (998), Western Illinois (1003), and Centenary (1012).
