INDIANAPOLIS, Ind- The Centenary women’s soccer team halted their season longest four-game losing streak by defeating Mid-Continent Conference foe IUPUI 1-0.  The Ladies complete the institutional soccer sweep, as the Gents took down IUPUI’s men’s team 3-2 on Saturday.

Sophomore Jenny Mather netted the game-winner for Centenary in the 10th minute after a misclear by the Jaguar defense.  Fellow sophomore Bre Fletcher collected the ball, and connected with Mather on the cross for the 1-0 lead and eventual victory.

Ladies keeper Ali Hilsher put on another strong showing in goal by picking up her second consecutive 10 save match, her fourth on the season.  Hilsher has 93 saves in 11 matches so far, putting her just 25 behind the single-season record with five games to go.

Centenary returns home where they begin a four game homestand as they take on Western Illinois on Friday at 7 p.m. and Stephen F. Austin on Sunday at 1 p.m.
