TULSA, Okla – Centenary golfer David Viviano is tied for seventh place with 148 after the first two rounds of the Oral Roberts Invitational, three strokes off the lead.  The junior recovered from a first round 78 to a post a two-under 70 on the next 18 holes.


As a team, the Gents are in ninth place with 640.  After shooting a 333 in the first round, the highest of any team, Centenary regrouped themselves and returned with a solid 307 on the second round.


Shaving ten strokes off his first round score of 83 for a 73, Reid Petree ended the day tied for 27th.  John Hogan is 44th (85-82, 171), while Nathan Hensley (89-82, 171) is 46th and Ryan Oliver (87-88, 175) is 47th.


Playing as an individual, Zach Bruhnke shot rounds of 93 and 98 for 191, and is in 48th place.


Host Oral Roberts (592) leads the pack by five strokes over UMKC (597), followed by Southern Illinois (599), and Bradley (605).  Ten strokes separate Loyola (Ill.) (613), Texas-Pan American (620), and South Dakota State (623), with North Dakota State (630) and Centenary (640) rounding out the competition.


One round of 18 holes is slated to finish the tournament on Tuesday.
