FORT WORTH, Texas—The Centenary volleyball team dropped its final contest of the Nike/LaQuinta Invitational hosted by TCU to Davidson College 3-0 (22-30, 25-30, 25-30) on Saturday evening. Freshman libero Lauren Fielding (Plano, Texas/Plano Senior) was named to the all-tournament team after collecting 50 digs in three matches.

The Ladies top individual kill total was six, accomplished by Danielle Bochat (Boerne, Texas/Boerne), Ashlee Freeman (Houston, Texas/Bellaire), and Sarah Chambers (Plano, Texas/Plano West). Rebekah Hill (Carthage, Texas/Carthage) and Rebecca Lunceford (Baton Rouge, La./The Dunham School) each added four kills in the loss while Fielding finished with 12 digs for Centenary.

The Maroon and White will look to get back to its winning ways when it hosts Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State in a doubleheader on Monday in the Gold Dome at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
