Centenary Cross Country Competes at Chile Pepper Festival
FAYETTEVILLE, Michael Haydel led the way for the Centenary men’s team, finishing 170th out of 289 individual racers with a time of 33:20.2. Adam Walton’s best pace of 5:35 per mile landed him in 199th at 34:42 and William Fell was 201st at 34:50. Brian Williams (211th – 36:01.5), William Boothe (215th – 36:19.7), Gerrit Moeller (218th – 36:40.4), and Adam Nerio (220th – 37:21) in addition to Ricky Thomas (38:18), Ryan Duplantis (40:22.5), and Saul Castaneda (42:20.9) also took to the course for the Gents. The women were paced by Lori Von Pingel who garnered 246th place out of 349 participants with an effort of 25:52.6. Sunny LaGrone finished 12 slots back at 258th (26:30.9) and Ashley Voorhies rounded out the top three for the Ladies in 280th place at 29:05.3. Taylor Robertson (284th – 29:52.2), Molly Broderick (286th – 31:34.4), Jennifer Quillin (287th – 31:36), and Cara Miccoli (289th – 32:33.5) filled out the Ladies’ contingent.
