Gents Offer Free Admission for Game Against Wiley

SHREVEPORT—The Centenary men’s basketball team will be offering free admission as a show of appreciation to all its fans at Saturday’s game against Wiley College in the Gold Dome. The Gents will host the Wildcats in an exhibition contest beginning at 2 p.m.

 

Centenary (2-3) looks to get back in the flow after a long trip to the BP Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska. The Gents finished in sixth place in the tournament, beating Southeast Missouri 83-51 and losing to the eventual event champion Utah State 77-71 in addition to Rhode Island 92-82.

 

Centenary is 6-0 all-time against Wiley and last defeated the Wildcats 82-71 in the early part of the 1999-2000 season.
