SHREVEPORT, La. -- The Centenary College Winter Baseball Camp will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 27 through Friday, Dec. 29 at Shehee Stadium. Applications will be processed on a first come basis.

Open to ages 6-17, all baseball players will have the preseason opportunity to improve both their hitting and fielding skills for the upcoming season at this year’s camp.

Working with both current and former Centenary players and coaches, players will be grouped by age, ability and prior experience. Areas covered during the three-day camp will include outfield play, infield play, pitching, rundowns, base running, sliding, double-plays and much more.

All sessions during the three-day camp will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., costing $175 per participant.

Centenary offers all-weather batting cages and pitching machines. All campers will be able to hit each day, learning important fundamentals for successful pitching and catching in each session.

Any questions concerning the camp can be directed to head baseball coach Ed McCann at 318-869-5298 or assistant coach Mike Diaz at 318-869-5095.
