Men's Swimming Ranks 23rd in Mid-Major Poll

SHREVEPORT, La. -- The Centenary men’s swim team made an appearance in the current CollegeSwimming.com NCAA Division I Mid-Major Poll.

The Gents check in 23rd nationally amongst mid-major schools, accumulating 128.32 points in the current poll.

As a team, the Gents have notched top three times in the Mid-Continent Conference in eight events on the men’s side, led by freshmen Cole McGee (Albuquerque, N.M.) and sophomores Chase Lambert (Benton, Ark.) and Bryan Myers (Round Rock, Texas). All three swimmers rank among the top three in the conference in their respective events.

The Gents are one of three Mid-Con schools appearing in the mid-major poll. Joining Centenary is Oakland at No. 4 and Valparaiso at No. 25.

Centenary, last competing Nov. 18, returns to action Dec. 19, traveling to St. Louis University.
