Tickets Still Available for LSU Game at Fair Grounds Field

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Tickets remain available for next week’s annual game between the Centenary baseball team and LSU, played Tuesday at Fair Grounds Field.

With less than a week before the matchup between the two Louisiana schools, both Gent and Tiger fans can easily purchase tickets by visiting the Fair Grounds Field box office or by calling 318-636-5555.

Reserved seating behind home plate can also be purchased in person at the Centenary baseball office, located at Shehee Stadium, or by calling 318-869-5298.

Reserved tickets are priced at $25/$20/$15 per ticket, with Skybox tickets priced at $25 per ticket. Reserved seating on the lower level is priced at $20 per ticket, while the upper level is priced at $15 per ticket.

General admission tickets, priced at $15 per ticket, are available at various ticket outlets throughout the Shreveport/Bossier City area.

The outlets include:

With the 2007 season already underway for both teams, Centenary (6-9) has already captured wins over teams from the Big 12 and the Big Ten this season. The Gents stand tied for the conference lead for wins, while falling by just a run in four games.

Juniors Calvin Sanchez (Santa Cruz, Calif.) and Cameron Penny (San Diego) lead the Gents in batting early into the season.

In the Tigers last visit to Shreveport and Fair Grounds Field, Centenary pulled off a miraculous upset of the SEC foe, defeating the Tigers, 6-1, May 2, 2005.
