GSU Deals Gents 7-0 Loss

GRAMBLING, La- Grambling State’s tennis team sent the Gents home with a 7-0 loss.

 

Centenary Gents tennis team lost their match against the Grambling State Tigers. The Gents doubles teams of Rodgam/Kostelanetz and Lozano/Dawson lost to the Tigers’ Rufyikin/Lorimer and Clayton/Evans 8-2, 8-4. GSU’s McNeal and Evans won their doubles match by default.

 

Both Evans and McNeal also took their singles matches by default, Evans’ was against Alejandro Ahuja and McNeal was without an opponent. The rest of the Tigers won their singles matches against the Gents tennis team. Nicolas Rufyikin defeated Mark Rodgam 6-2, 6-4; Janen Clayton defeated Seva Kastelanetz 6-0, 6-1; Ryan Lormier defeated Gerry Lozano 6-3, 6-3; and Herue Hiaintuka defeated Jacob Dawson 6-2, 6-3.
