INDIANAPOLIS--The Mid-Continent Conference softball series between IUPUI and Centenary in Indianapolis this weekend was cancelled due to sub-freezing temperatures. None of the games were played and none will be made up in the future as a result of conference policies.

The series cancellation is the second for the Ladies who also had their league-opening series at Western Illinois cancelled. To this point, Centenary has only played three of its originally scheduled nine Mid-Con games.

Centenary begins a stretch this week in which the Ladies host 11 of their final 14 games at home, not counting the Mid-Con Tournament which will also be played in Shreveport. The homestand starts with Texas-Arlington on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
