After the first round of the 2007 Mid-Continent Conference Golf Championships, Southern Utah leads by a stroke over Oral Roberts on the men's side, with the Oral Roberts women holding a six-stroke lead over Oakland University.

Led by Pamela Ontiveros and Christy Carter, the No. 1 seeded Golden Eagles shot a 307 in the first round.

Southern Utah shot a 288 in the first round, led by individual leader Matt McArthur.
