SHREVEPORT—The Centenary gymnastics team welcomes Southeast Missouri State to the Gold Dome for a 4 p.m. meet on Saturday. The event is also Senior Day as the Ladies will recognize seniors Jessie Angus and Kristina Menne for four years of hard work and dedication.

Southeast Missouri State is led by freshman Rikara Turner, who received her second Midwest Independent Gymnast of the Week award of the season this week after posting a career-high all-around score of 38.850 against Kentucky, Bowling Green, and Texas Woman’s University.

The Ladies are paced by Angus and Menne. Angus is a three-time NCAA Academic All-American and was a member of Centenary’s 2004 USA Gymnastics National Championship team. Menne was also a big part of the championship squad as the National Champion in the all-around. In addition, she was an NCAA Regional Qualifier in both 2004 and 2005.

These two teams have already met three times this season and the Redhawks have bested the Ladies on all three occasions.
