SHREVEPORT – After a scoreless 90 minutes, the Centenary and Arkansas women’s soccer teams went into overtime. Just over five minutes into the extra time, Lady Razorbacks midfielder Kathleen Paulsen netted the 1-0 winning goal just out of the reach of Ladies goalkeeper Ali Hilsher.

The Tulsas, Okla., native made four saves in over 95 minutes of work, which now brings her season total to 38. Between the posts for the Lady ‘Backs was Britni Williams, who also made four stops.

Sophomore Brittany O’Neal and freshman Candace Rushing each had two shots on the sunny afternoon, while one of O’Neal’s was saved. Arkansas out shot Centenary 15-10, as the Ladies were unable to break the Lady Razorback defense in the extra time.

The next action for Centenary will be Friday at McNeese State and Sunday at Louisiana Tech. The Ladies are now 3-4-0 on the season, and will be back home on Friday, Sept. 28, against Nicholls State.
