Halloween Hoopla a Success

SHREVEPORT--Several on-campus organizations came together Thursday night to host Centenary's annual Halloween Hoopla. The event was emceed by Centenary students Ben Crismon and Lindsay Ezell and featured several contests in addition to the Ladies and Gents basketball teams showing a preview of what fans can expect from the teams this season. Some of the fanfare included a costume contest, shooting contests, scrimmages, a performance by the Centenary gymnastics team, and a slam dunk contest, which was won by junior Nick Stallings. The basketball teams open their respective seasons on Tuesday with a home exhibition doubleheader against LSU-Shreveport in the Gold Dome beginning at 5 p.m.
