SHREVEPORT—Centenary men’s basketball coach Rob Flaska has announced the signing of 6’10” post Te’Allen Price from Cincinnati, Ohio. Price is the first signing for the Gents of the 2008-09 class.

Price at 6’10” and 270 pounds adds size to an ever-growing Centenary roster. He plays his prep ball at Woodward High School and is a member of the Shining Star Sports-Callahan AAU team. His squad finished seventh in the country this summer at the AAU National Championships and boasted a 43-17 record.

“Te’Allen brings us a much-needed physical presence in the paint,” said head coach Rob Flaska. “He is a big time football prospect that will provide toughness and will impact our program with his ability to defend and rebound. He should compete for major playing time as a freshman.”

Price also considered Ball State, Furman, IUPUI, Morehead State, Niagara, and Tennessee Tech among other schools, according to his AAU coach.
