FARGO, N.D.—The Centenary men’s basketball team will wrap up its regular season with a trip through North and South Dakota this weekend. The Gents will tackle North Dakota State on Thursday at 7 p.m. before battling South Dakota State in the season finale on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. It will be the first trip for the Gents to the Dakotas since the two schools were added to The Summit League last summer.

Centenary (9-19, 3-13 Summit) looks to end a nine-game losing skid when it meets up with the Bison. The Gents are coming off of a tough overtime loss to UMKC and lost to NDSU in the teams’ first meeting this season in overtime.

Tyrone Hamilton continues to pace the Gents on offense, scoring 16.3 points per game. Nick Stallings has found his shooting touch again and has pumped in 22 and 35 points in his last two games. He is now averaging 15.9 points per game on the season.

North Dakota State (14-13, 8-8 Summit) and defeated its rival South Dakota State last weekend by a score of 63-60. Guard Ben Woodside is tossing in 21 points per contest, while teammate Brett Winkelman is scoring 18.9 points per game for the Bison.

The Gents did defeat South Dakota State (8-19, 3-13 Summit) in their Summit League opener back in December, 80-77. Kai Williams leads the way for the Jackrabbits with 14.1 points per. Two other players are scoring in double digits as well.

Both games will be broadcast over the radio on KSCL 91.3 FM and on the internet at www.GoCentenary.com.
