Stallings Named LSWA Player of the Week

BATON ROUGEĀ—Centenary men’s basketball player Nick Stallings was named Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) player of the week on Thursday. The honor is the first for a Centenary basketball player this season.

 

Stallings, a native of New Orleans, averaged 28.5 points, six rebounds, and four 3-pointers per game last week. He scored a career-high 35 points against Southern Utah, which included a career-high five 3-pointers, and followed that up with 22 points against UMKC. He leads the team in rebounding with 135 on the year and is second on the squad with a scoring average of 15.9 points per contest.
