Orr Continues to Add for 2008

SHREVEPORT – Will Christian a graduate of Plano Senior High School signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer for Centenary this fall.


Prior to playing at Plano, Christian attended Pope John Paul II High School and scored 16 goals in two seasons. As a sophomore he led the team is goals and in 2007 he helped Plano to a district championship.


Christian is a six year member of the North Texas Olympic Development Program and played for the Dallas Texans Soccer Club, where he was coached by Centenary Alumnus Abdi Adloo and Curtis Partain.


“Will comes from a good family and he also has great character, which will be good for the team this year," said head coach David Orr. “He will add depth in midfield and on defense, and he should contribute a lot this fall."    


Christian will join Connor Adams, Aaron Bergman, Shaun Coogan, Jihad Elaydi, Micah Goodwin, Kyle Kling, Tate McIntyre, Kyle Mehnert, John McHugh, Marcos Rodriguez, Jude Stewart, Ben Barcelona and Seth Prochaska, who signed early in the spring.
