SHREVEPORT - The Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) selected Centenary golfers Greg Berthelot, Jessica Garza and Chloe Mims second team all-Louisiana, as voted on by the state's sports information directors.

The Centenary Ladies and Gents golf teams concluded the Summit League Championships in Macomb, IL, with the Ladies taking a sixth place finish and the Gents finishing tenth. The final round was delayed several hours after early morning rains made the course unplayable.

MACOMB, Ill. - The Centenary men's and women's golf teams had a tough day on Monday at The Summit League Championship. The Gents are led by Greg Berthelot (75-77, 152), while Tracy Williams (79-84, 163) was the top day-two finisher for the Ladies.

Greg Berthelot (75) tops the Gents scoring leaders with a three over, which puts Centenary in ninth place after Sunday's first round at The Summit League Championships.

BOSSIER CITY, La. - The Centenary men's golf team finished with three in the top 15, which was good enough to place third at the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate. The Gents (309-302-306, 917) finished 29 strokes behind Birmingham-Southern (298-294-296), who won with an 888.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - After a good first round the Centenary (324-352, 676) men's golf team fell off the pace during round-two on Monday afternoon. The Gents are now 85 strokes behind Sam Houston State, who is leading UALR/First Tee Collegiate with a 591.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Centenary freshman Greg Berthelot (79-83-79, 241) led the Gents, but in the end it wasn't enough as they finished in 15th place. Centenary (324-352- 342, 1018) completed the tournament 125 strokes behind Sam Houston State, who won the ULAR/First Tee Collegiate with an 893.

CEDAR CITY, Utah - Freshman Greg Berthelot (76-75, 151) second round score was just slightly better than his first, but it could not carry the Centenary men's golf team to victory at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational, hosted by Southern Utah. The Gents (312-314, 626) finished 18th and 64 strokes behind Kentucky, who won the event with a 562.

CEDAR CITY, Utah - Centenary freshman Greg Berthlot was four over par on Monday in the first round of the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational, hosted by Southern Utah. As a team, the Gents (312) were in 16th place and just 34 strokes behind first place Louisiana-Monroe, who shot a 278.

SHREVEPORT - After an up and down fall season, the Centenary men's golf team will begin its spring schedule on Sunday at Southern Utah. During the fall, the Gents were led by freshman Greg Berthelot, who averaged 73 per round.

LAFAYETTE, La. -- Freshman Greg Berthelot shot an eight over par on Tuesday, but it was not enough to move the Centenary men's golf team up on the leader board. The Gents (336-328-339) completed the Battle on the Bend with a team score of 1003 to finish 9th, which was 116 strokes behind the winner Sam Houston State (286-295-306), who shot an 887.

LAFAYETTE, La. - The Centenary men's golf team cut eight strokes off of its first round score, but the Gents still finished ninth at the Battle of the Bend, hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette on Monday. Centenary finished the two-day event with a 664 finishing 83 strokes behind first place Sam Houston State, who won the tournament with a final score of 581.

ARLINGTON, Texas - Freshman Greg Berthelot finished in 27th, but was only one of four to shoot under par for the third round on Tuesday at the UT-Arlington Fall Classic. For the tournament, Berthelot was +6 (72-80-70, 222) and 12 strokes behind the winner, Lloyd du Preez of Arkansas State.

ARLINGTON, Texas - After shooting even par in the first round on Monday morning, Centenary men's golf freshman Greg Berthelot was eight over (72-80, 152) in the afternoon tying him for 60th at the UT-Arlington Fall Classic. Leading the way in Arlington is Colby Shrum of Central Oklahoma, who shot seven under par.

LAKE CHARLES, La. - Sophomore Tyler Williams' 12 over par was Centenary's top finisher at the Moe O'Brien Intercollegiate, hosted by McNeese State on Tuesday. In the three round event, Williams shot a 76 in round one, 77 in the second round and 75 during the final day. As a team, the Gents finished in fourth after shooting a 945, which was 81 over par, while Central Arkansas won the team title with an 879 (+15).

Individually, sophomore Tyler Williams is the top golfer for the Gents as he is shooting a +9 (76-77, 153) overall.

LAKE CHARLES, La. - A four-over-par 76 for Centenary freshman Nick Faitz and sophomore Tyler Williams on Sunday put duo in a five-way tie for eighth at the Moe O'Brien Intercollegiate hosted by McNeese State. Faitz and Williams shot identical front (39) and back (37) nine's, which put them 11 strokes behind the leader, Sigmundur Masson of McNeese.

JACKSON, Miss. - In his first tournament at Centenary, freshman golfer Greg Berthelot shot even par (67-73-76), which was good for a seventh place tie at the Jackson State National Invitational. As a team the Gents shot a 926 placing them in ninth, 11 strokes behind Alabama State for eighth and 76 behind first place Murray State.

Overall the Gents have a two-round total of 614, which puts them in a tie for ninth with Florida A&M.
