Gents Work With Youth Soccer

SHREVEPORT – On Monday evening the Centenary men’s soccer team showed its community sprit by helping the Bossier City Parks and Recreation Youth Soccer squads. The Gents did several games with the kids, along with scrimmaging at the end of the clinic.

Centenary helped the kids improve their skills, while head coach David Orr showed the coaches different ideas on how to hold practice.

“Our guys had a great time doing this project with the kids,” said Orr. “I think our guys went home and knew they did something good for the community, and the kids had a smile on their face and appreciated what we did.”

During the spring semester Centenary soccer will do more community activities and if any coach wants to bring their team to a Gents soccer match this fall they are urged to do so.
