SHREVEPORT – The Centenary men’s basketball team took time out last Wednesday to visit the children at the LSU Health Sciences Center.

During their visit with the children, the Gents signed autographs, took pictures and spent quality time with each kid. The children now have pictures of the Gents and autographs on their walls.

“The visit to the Pediatric Ward at LSUHC was an eye opening experience for our players,” said head coach Greg Gary. “They are all really great with younger kids so this gave them an opportunity to interact with and to give back in our community, while being able to hopefully brighten the day for some of the children dealing with different ailments.”

The 55,000 square foot clinic provides space for general pediatrics, pediatric subspecialties, and pediatric resident continuity clinics, as well as separate waiting areas for sick and well patients. The clinic also boasts numerous teaching areas, as well as the latest technology in digital radiography.
