SHREVEPORT – After a thrilling 75-69 overtime win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday, the Centenary women’s basketball team will try to continue its momentum on Saturday. The Ladies will host Southeastern Louisiana at noon in the Gold Dome, and they will also try to avenge last seasons crushing, 61-59 loss.

Centenary is led by a trio of student-athletes who average over 10 points per game, led by sophomore Anne Farrell, who scores 11.8 a contest. The Tulsa, Okla., native also pulls down 10.8 rebounds per game.

The Ladies also have several athletes in the upper of the half of The Summit League statistics. Farrell is 10th in the league in scoring and second in rebounding, while seniors Cierra Bush is fifth in field goal percentage (.520) and Karolina Zaloga’s is first in assists (5.8).

SELU is 1-2 this season, falling to Houston and New Orleans, while defeating North Florida. On Tuesday the Lions hosted Stetson and won 66-60, as Quantae Thomas and Chelsea Hix led the way with 12 points.

Carlin leads the Lions offense with 14 points per game, while Thomas adds just under 13 a contest. Carlin is also a monster on the glass as well, as she pulls down nine rebounds a game.

Following the home game Saturday, Centenary will be on the road for three straight games, at Northwestern State (Dec. 1), South Dakota State (Dec. 4) and North Dakota State (Dec. 6).

Live stats and video will be available for Saturday’s game, and all the road contests will be on 91.3 KSCL and on www.GoCentenary.com.
