Missed Offensive Opportunities Hurts Ladies

STILLWATER, Okla. – Senior Cierra Bush scored a team-high 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but it was another tough shooting night for the Centenary women’s basketball team, as it fell to Oklahoma State, 100-57, Tuesday night.

The Ladies shot 19-of-56 from the field, but turned the ball over 31 times. The Cowgirls, meanwhile, were 36-of-84 and lost the ball just nine times. OSU was also 22-of-30 from the line with junior All-American Andrea Riley connecting on 8-of-12.

Also playing well for Centenary was sophomore Ashley Jackson and junior Natasha Dranganic, who each scored 10 points. Leading all scorers was Riley, who scored 31, while Tegan Cunningham put in 20.
