ROCHESTER, Mich. – The success continues for the Centenary men’s and women’s swimming teams as they continued to break school records Friday at the second day of the Summit League Championship. Overall, the Gents remain in second with 388 points, while the Ladies remain in third with 317 points.

Centenary opened up the day with both the Ladies and Gents breaking the school record in their respective 200-yard medley relay. The Ladies’ time of 1:46.74 was good enough for a third place finish, while the Gent’s time of 1:33.31 allowed them to capture second.

The day continued with freshman Madi Wyatt breaking the school record in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:29.32, which was fast enough for a fourth place finish.

Jessica Brown (56.28) registered the first event win for either team at the Summit League Championship when she captured the title in the 100-yard fly. Her win is even more impressive considering she finished the race carrying her goggles in her teeth after they fell off during a turn.

Leslie Wyatt later followed her younger sister’s lead, breaking the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke finals with a time of 1:07.96.

Both teams will conclude competition on Saturday with live stats available on
