SHREVEPORT-Stay connected all day with your Ladies and Gents athletic teams now on Twitter. All press releases are automatically sent to twitter for all day, anywhere access.

By clicking on the banner at the bottom of the homepage of www.GoCentenary.com, you will be directed to CentenarySports, the athletics' twitter site.

WHAT IS TWITTER?
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as "tweets"), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

HOW DO I SIGN UP, OR "FOLLOW," CENTENARY COLLEGE ATHLETICS TWITTER PAGE?
Great question. Signing up (called "following" in Twitter lingo) for the Centenary Athletics Twitter page is very easy. Just log on to
Twitter.com and search "CentenarySports."  Make sure to click on the button in the upper-left hand corner of the page that says "Follow." This will allow you to instantly access up-to-date news about YOUR Ladies and Gents via Twitter.

WHY WOULD CENTENARY COLLEGE ATHLETICS ADD ITS OWN TWITTER PAGE
Simply put, we want to engage our fans with Centenary Athletics teams, student-athletes and coaches as much as possible, and one of the best ways to do that is by proving our fans with a continuous stream of updated information in a format they are already using, such as IMs, texting, the Web and e-mail.
