SHREVEPORT-Despite having four players reach double figure scoring, the Centenary women's basketball team dropped its home opener to Grambling, 78-53, on Tuesday evening in the Gold Dome. The Ladies (0-3) faced a hot-shooting Lady Tiger team to drop its third contest this season all to in-state Louisiana schools.

TIME TO TRY TEXAS
The Ladies opened their season with their first three games against in-state rivals, Louisiana Tech, LSU, and Grambling. With a record of 0-3, Centenary looks to try and earn its first win now over a team from Texas in Sam Houston State.

JOSEPH OFF THE BENCH

ON BOARD WITH FARRELL
Junior Anne Farrell returns as the leading rebounder from a year ago and through three games is averaging 8.3 boards a contest. In the season opener this year, Farrell pulled down 12 rebounds, just two shy of her career high (14), which came last season against Sam Houston State.
