Gents Baseball Makes Another Community Contribution
Monday, February 22, 2010
SHREVEPORT-For the second time in one week, the Centenary baseball team showed its commitment to the Shreveport community as it visited Meadowview Elementary School prior to departing for their opening weekend three-game set at No. 2 LSU.

The Gents took time out of their practice schedule to help the teachers and students at the local elementary school prepare of the LEAP test, Louisiana's standardized state test.

This contribution was the second in one week as Centenary was on break for Mardi Gras. The Gents visited Shriners Hospital a few days prior to the visit to Meadowview.

Centenary will host Grambling State on Friday at 4:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 pm for its home opener at Peyton Shehee Stadium.
