SHREVEPORT-Due to expected inclement weather in the area on Wednesday, the Centenary softball game scheduled against Central Arkansas has been moved to Thursday, April 15 at 5:30 pm.

The Ladies are coming off a tough weekend at Southern Utah, dropping two of their three games to the T-Birds, falling to 9-21 overall and 3-9 in league play.

Centenary is led offensively by junior Sara Dornelas with a .325 clip and a team-best 25 hits, while senior Allison Shepperd follows with a .284 average and nine doubles to pace the Ladies.

On the mound, Dornelas has seen the majority of the innings, tossing 109.1 for an 8-14 record and a 4.29 ERA. Also seeing time on the mound are sophomore Reggie Salvatore (0-2, 6.79 ERA), and juniors Lauren Highsmith (1-2, 7.99 ERA) and Courtney Avery (0-3, 11.67 ERA).

Centenary and Central Arkansas will meet for just the third time in history as the Bears own the series, 2-0.
