This will be the first time since ORU joined the league in 1998 that it will not be the No. 1 seed.

Oakland claimed the No. 4 seed with a 13-14 league mark. The Golden Grizzlies captured the final spot with a four-game series sweep over Southern Utah in the final week of the regular season.

Sophomore Seth Lugo is 2-2 with a 4.62 ERA, while junior David Benson is 4-3 with a 4.85 ERA.

The Gents have received several strong performances of late out of the pen as freshman Trey McGee picked up his first win of the season last weekend.
