Gents Basketball Continues to Add with Size

SHREVEPORT-Centenary men's basketball continues to add to its 2010-11 roster as Andrew Rebol (Fort Morgan, CO/Fort Morgan HS) has officially accepted the institution's offer of admission announced by head coach Adam Walsh on Wednesday afternoon.

Rebol, a native of Fort Morgan, Colorado is a 2010 graduate of Fort Morgan High School. He is the son of Dave and Karen Rebol and is the third incoming freshman for Walsh and the Gents.

An all-around athlete in high school, Rebol earned eight letters, four in basketball under Chad Unrine and four in football under Harrison Chisum for the Mustangs. Standing at 6'8" and 245 pounds, he was an All-State and All-Conference award winner in both basketball and football and led his football team to the State Championships, finishing runner up.

Rebol played club basketball for the Colorado Chaos out of Denver under Jeff Klosters for two seasons.

"I am excited to welcome Andrew to our program.  He has the needed size and strength to make our interior game much better. I was very impressed with his work ethic when I saw him play this summer," said Walsh.

Rebols joins six returners from last season as well as incoming freshman Logan Lowery and Quin Cooper.
