Volleyball Dropped 3-0 Match at NDSU

FARGO, N.D.-The Centenary volleyball team faced a tough test at second-seeded North Dakota State on Friday evening, falling 3-0 in Summit League action.

The Ladies dropped set one 25-7, set two 25-19 and set three 25-19 and saw their record fall to 3-22 overall and 0-17 against Summit League foes.

Junior Stevie Kaye led the offensive attack for Centenary with nine kills on 31 total attacks, while junior Jaclyn Lopez and sophomore Shelby Singleton each added five.

Junior Caitlin Neese contributed to the attack with 17 assists.

Defensively, senior Bethany Kern made 10 digs to lead the squad and Lopez tallied eight digs in the effort.

North Dakota State used its powerful offensive effort to garner 52 kills as a team and a .292 attack percentage.

Centenary will be back in action on Saturday at South Dakota State with a 7 pm start.
