Gym Talk: Meg Crowley
Monday, December 27, 2010
Hey everyone, it's Meg! As Lauren told you last week we're at home now on Christmas break. Everyone has been taking time to relax, visit with friends, and get some last minute Christmas shopping done. After a tough semester it is a much-needed break.

A break from school doesn't mean a break from gymnastics though, but it's been fun going back to my club gym to practice. I love seeing my old coaches, and seeing how much better my old teammates have gotten since I last saw them. This is where I first fell in love with gymnastics, and I love coming back because it feels like home.

While at home I decided to ask some of the avid Ladies Gymnastics fans here what they were looking forward to the most this season.  My oldest brother Andrew said he's looking forward to seeing some good gymnastics and improvements from last year. Being a University of Illinois at Chicago Alumni he's also looking forward to a good battle between the Ladies and UIC. He won't admit it, but he's rooting for the Ladies. My younger sister Mary Katharine said she's ready to watch some awesome high-energy floor routines! My father the most avid fan is looking forward to taking a trip to Alaska to see the Ladies compete against the University of Alaska.

Hearing what they're looking forward to gets me excited for season and to give the fans what they want! Our first meet is only two weeks away and I can't wait! It's go time! The Ladies are starting the season January 8th hope to see you there! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year!
