Tennis to Take Part in ASC Individuals

SHREVEPORT-The Centenary men's and women's tennis teams will take part in the fall ASC Individuals held in Abilene, Texas, beginning Thursday evening.

The Ladies and Gents will compete in both singles and doubles play. Centenary will face off against other American Southwest Conference schools on the campuses on Hardin Simmons, McMurry and Abilene Christian University.

Competing for the Ladies will be junior Isadora Bickham, freshmen Lauren Beurlot, Olivia West, Katie Cornwell, and sophomore Holly Clark.

The Gents will compete with senior Evan Magill, junior Sam Grace, sophomore Garrett Whipple, junior Michael Reeks, freshman Cameron Buech, senior John Reeks, and freshman Alex Savoie.

"I am eager to see how we compare on the court to everyone else in the ASC," said head coach Todd Killen. "The team is excited to start competing and getting our fall season underway."

This event will mark the only fall competition for Centenary as the 2012 spring schedule will be released soon.
