Ladies Finish in 10th with Solid Final Round
![]() MONROE, La.-The Centenary women's golf team made an impressive third-round showing, trimming 26 shots off their second round score to fire a 320 on Tuesday in ULM's Fred Marx Invitational to finish in 10th overall. The Ladies moved up the leader board from 11th to 10th after the final round. Centenary (337-346-320) finished the 54-hole, par 72 tournament with a total score of 1003. Junior Justine Kemp fired a career-low 73 in today's final round to move into a tie for 33rd, which led the Ladies in standings. The Colorado Springs, Colo. native (79-86-73) made the biggest improvement, cutting 13 strokes off yesterday's round to total 238 after three rounds of play. Sophomore Sarah Bradshaw (84-97-83) finished at 264 and in 59th, while sophomore Kylee Goldthorn (92-98-91) finished 62nd with a 281 score. Troy University (295-303-298) captured the team title with a three-round total of 896 to finish six shots better than second-place South Alabama (308-291-303) at 902. ULM (306-303-297) rounded out the top three with a 906. Individually, Northeastern State's Whitney McAteer (75-76-70, 221) took home top honors after winning a playoff over Troy's Langley Vannoy.
