Ladies Swept at UT-Dallas

RICHARDSON, Texas-The Centenary volleyball team was swept in three straight sets on Saturday afternoon at UT-Dallas in ASC action.

The Ladies fell to 13-10 on the year with the loss. Centenary dropped set one 25-22, set two 25-18 and set three 25-15.

For the second straight match, Centenary was held in check offensively, posting only 33 kills and a .183 attack percentage. Senior Jaclyn Lopez led with nine kills, followed by freshman Brooke Bahlingher with seven, while junior Shelby Singleton added six and freshman Sarah Sumner chipped in with five.

Senior setter Caitlin Neese made 15 assists, while sophomore Beth Nuttall had 10.

Defensively, Lopez had eight digs to lead Centenary, while senior Taylor Gilmour had seven.

Centenary was out attacked .306 to .183.

Centenary will wrap up conference play on the road on Tuesday when it travels to Mississippi College for a 6 pm match.
